This isn't a really cool secret, but check out the Desert Inn and Suites. It is very basic, but clean and comfortable, with a small indoor pool and a simple continental breakfast. The price was very reasonable, and you can't beat the location - right across the street from the park entrance.

You know I work for Marriott, right? Depending on when you are going, I may be able to get you a friends and family rate for a hotel and there are a ton in that area.

Bring snacks and reusable water bottles. We ate a good breakfast and dinner but snacked all day while at the park with things we got at target (not too far from Disneyland) and it saved our family a lot (we had 20 ppl with us). My Sister bought their Disneyland tickets from ppl on KSL and "shared" their tickets. They all saved a lot that way and it worked out just great. Let me know if you have more questions. 801-367-6953

Hey I bought a couple of restaurant.com gift certificates to House of Blues in downtown Disney for our trip last week. We didn't end up using them. Do you want them? You probably have your hotel by now but we stayed at the Desert Inn and the location was SO great. I also just blogged about Disneyland and tried to put a few helpful tips on there. Have a good time!
